My Family

We have  five members in my family.My parents,my siblings and me! I am the eldest among three children.I have a sister and a brother who are studying in P3 and K2.Both of them can be fun and annoying at the same time.It is a really tough responsibility being the eldest child.I always wished I was the youngest or I could have an elder brother.My parents are quite fair and they don't scold me for unecassary reasons.Being the eldest can also be fun as your younger siblings follow you and you can boss them around.We always find time to spend together. Every saturday my parents make it a point to go out.We only stay at home when my exams are nearing.Almost all fridays,we go to the park together and have a whale of a time making friends there.My father is an engineer and my mother is a housewife.I love spending time with my family and talking to them about their experiences.I love my family and my family loves me too!

My Hobby

     My hobby is reading.I like to read since the age of  7.My favourite books at that time were fantasy books like Cinderella,Snowhite etc.I like to share my joy for reading with my friends.At this age my favourite books turned to Mr Midnight and other ghost stories.I enjoy reading ghost stories.One of my favourite storybooks is the Singapore true ghost stories.Other than reading I love dancing and listening to music too.I love to share my joy of reading with my siblings too.My sister,who is in p3,borrows a lot of books from her school library. My brother is in K2 and he loves reading simple books.He enjoys books like,Thomas,Garfield etc.I feel that reading is a good habit and whenever I am feeling upset,I read books which helps me forget my sadness.I love visiting the library and reading the books there.I am sure that there are many people who enjoy reading as much as I do.I am happy that I have shared my joy of reading with my siblings.

My June Holidays

My June holidays were awesome.I had gone to India with my family to visit our grandparents.I was elated to see my grandparents and my relatives.I spent the first week of the holidays doing my homeworks.I was relieved that there were three more weeks for the holidays to end.I spent the three weeks going out for dinners,visiting my other relatives and mostly watching T.V.I did not notice time flying by.Finally,it was time to go back to Singapore.I was really sad and did not want to go back.My parents reassured me that we would come back during the next holidays.I was comforted on hearing that. I sadly bade goodbye to my grandparents and came back to Singapore. I was relieved that I had finished all my homework in time as school was starting two days later.I packed my bag quickly although school was not the next day.Then,I called my grandparents and told them about my safe journey back and told them how much I had missed them.I reassured them that I would come back in the november holiday. I am still waiting for the holidays to arrive!
